Andrea

Hello I’m Andrea, the proprietor of Natural Roots. Many years ago after working in various conventional salons and becoming quite sensitive to synthetic chemical based products, I was offered a job in an organic salon in Atlanta, Georgia.

At the time I was unsure as to how natural products/colours etc would work and the results that could be achieved. I learnt over the course of nine years that not only can you achieve fabulous, dynamic, on-point creations, but it can be done with little or no damage to the hair, therefore leaving the structure full of body and shine.

Using this knowledge I opened Natural Roots in Glastonbury, in February 2002. Since then Natural Roots has developed and grown in to a wonderful, relaxing, yet fun environment for myself, my colleagues and my clients.

I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in working with natural hair, developing ways to help people understand how to care for and manage their hair as naturally as possible. The holistic approach to hairdressing.

Lucy

I am Lucy the Salon Manager at Natural Roots, I have been working at the salon for over 20 years, having been a qualified hairdresser for more than 22 years. I have been working with hair since I finished school, I have always loved it, and still have as much passion for it now as I did then.

I specialise in organic perms and the results are amazing. I also do all types of colouring, high and low lights, full head colours, ombre, balayage and a range of funky colours both temporary and permanent.

I am the dreadlock specialist at Natural Roots, specialising in maintenance, tidy ups, and creating a whole had of new dreadlocks from your natural hair. Feedback has been great and i will looking to add dreadlocks extensions to my portfolio in the near future.

Hi I’m Katie, I’m the senior stylist at natural roots. I have been qualified for over 10 years. I love my job and making people happy, I listen well and always do my best. I enjoy doing lots of colouring ombre and balyage. I’m always willing to try new techniques as I believe you never stop learning in this line of work. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Lizzie

Hiya! I'm Lizzie, I started here in July 2022 as the junior stylist after working for 10 years in the dental industry. I've now advanced to the senior stylist position at Natural Roots.

I decided to have a career change and have always been passionate about hair. I love being creative and making people feel good about themselves. I'm enjoying all aspects of hairdressing at the moment but particularly enjoy doing woven highlights.

Talek

Hi, I'm Talek. I recently moved here from South Wales. I started my hairdressing journey in 2021 after being inspired by hair videos during lockdown. I was so shy and had no confidence, but I had a vision, and ever since then I have been pushing myself to learn and grow into the person I am today.

I am excited to continue growing and developing my skills even further, and I look forward to meeting all of you along the way.
